Research Towards Development Of Recreational Agriculture In Fuzhou

Recreational Agriculture (RA) is a new industry that combines both agriculture and tourism industry. It started to blossom in China from late 1980s. It introduces a new approach towards the development of agricultural industry. It is also a new field for the development of the tourist industry. To develop RA has significant meanings to boost the new village construction, the sustainable agriculture development, and a harmonious society.As a coastal open city, Fuzhou has developed its RA along with its fast urbanization and constant optimization towards agricultural structure. However, along with the vigorous development there are some issues that should not be neglected.With the current available RA theories and achievements, this essay expatiates Fuzhou RA development through field study and evidence research. It uses theories from Industrial Economy to analyze the developmental phases, industrial organization features, industrial layouts, industrial management, industrial managing models, and so on about the industrial features. It points out the problems existing in the Fuzhou RA industrial development. By SWOT method, this essay makes relatively complete analysis towards the influential factors affecting Fuzhou RA and concludes that there are advantages and disadvantages as well as opportunities and threats for its development. At the end this essay brings out solutions in order for Fuzhou RA to develop continually, soundly, and coordinately.
