Strategic Research On The Enterprise Operation And Development Of Foundry Industry In Botou City

This paper focuses on the enterprises of Botou's. On the two angles of natures and quantities, this paper makes a deep investigation in the enterprise's developing strategies. The paper makes a deep study on the operation and performance of 23 representative enterprises in Botou. With the methods of SWOT and Value Chain, the paper make a deep analysis on the advantages, disadvantages and probable growing points of these enterprises. On these bases, the paper designs three strategies about the foundry enterprises in Botou. First, the development of the whole foundry industry should be the origins that encouraging the developing of the foundry enterprises. Second, all the foundry enterprises should be divided into two strategic groups. One is composed of the enterprises that have bigger scales and mainly produce autos and the casts for the mainframes in other industries. This group of enterprises should lock in the high-end market. The other group is composed of the enterprises that have smaller scales and mainly produce the casts for arts and crafts. This group should lock in the little sub divisional market. At last, the foundry enterprises should improve the management and enhance the ability of competition.
