With the operation of GATT and WTO, tariff barriers are constantly falling, and traditional non-tariff barriers are also more rigidly restricted. However, to achieve their trade protection strategy, western developed countries are enthusiastically adopting new non-tariff barriers, of which green barrier is the most popular one. Green barrier is a new type of non-tariff trade barrier, which is increasingly being applied. It emerges mainly to meet people's major concern on environmental problems and respond to trade protectionists' eager pursuit for new methods of protection. In recent years, green barrier has become the biggest obstacle to our country's product export with massive pressure and serious challenge brought by it. Our country is a big agricultural country and trade of agriculture products occupies a big share in our country's export, Therefore, with the premises of a new round of trade protection tendency, it is imperative that we deeply study the green barrier problems existing in our country's agriculture products export to breakthrough the green barriers and expand China's export of agricultural products, granting China's agricultural products a favorable position in international competition. This paper starts from theoretical analysis of green barriers, and introduces the status quo of China's agriculture products. On such basis, an in-depth analysis of green barriers' specific impact on China's agriculture products export is conducted, especially including the impact of recent Japan "Positive List System" and the New EU Food Safety Regulations on China's export of agricultural products. The analysis is mainly conducted through many cases and the variation of agriculture products' export volume, so that the extent of green barriers' impact on China's agricultural products export can be determined. In the end, this paper puts forward four specific measures from the perspective of developing eco-agriculture, strengthening agriculture products supervision, improving early warning mechanism and emergency response mechanisms for import and export of farm produce and implementing green marketing, thus providing a theoretical basis for the quality growth of China's export of agriculture products.
