A Study Of The Formation Of Science & Technology Innovative Culture

Innovation is the inexhaustible force for a nation's prosperity as well as the soul for a nation's progress. Constant science & technology innovation is a necessity for the development and existence of a society. Franklin once said,"Ceasing innovative thinking is equal to ceasing life."Science & technology innovation is the motive force for the development of economy and the increase of productivity. In the exploration and development of science & technology innovation, its cultural connotation gradually becomes visible, which in turn conceives the development of science & technology. People gradually come to understand the importance of science & technology innovation, which leads to cultural innovation. The significance of innovating culture is widely discussed on different fields and levels. However, all these discussions are unoriginal, gross and scattered, without a system and further exploration. On the basis of precedent achievements and according to the evolvement of the theories of culture studies and science & technology innovation, this thesis tries to explore the topic of science and technology innovating culture from the perspective of formation studies, referring to the knowledge of different disciplines like philosophy of science and technology, management science, social studies, psychology, history of science, economics, etc. The thesis takes the examination of the behaviors of science and technology as the logical starting point, and then extensively expounds how culture innovation accumulates and forms in the process of science & technology innovation. First, starting form the study of those theories on culture studies and science & technology innovation, the thesis further expounds the convergence of the theories of the two fields. Then, it discusses the realization of innovation and the construction of science and technology innovation organizational culture in the pairs of innovation body and organizational behavior culture, innovation roles integration and organizational system culture, value gaming and organizational value outlook. Next, it analyses the formation of science and technology innovative social culture from the interaction of individual culture and social culture, the integration of organizational culture and social culture and the self-interpretation of innovational social culture. Finally, from the aspects of establishing innovative cultural conceptions, reinforcing the construction of innovation culture system and carrying forward innovation social culture, we could create a culture which is beneficial for science and technology innovation.
