Since 1990s, supply chain management, as a philosophy of strategic management to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, has been emphasized both theoretically and practically. Research on partnerships and their influential factors also have been one of the hot topics.However, it is clear that there are two insufficiencies in existing research: firstly, researchers tend to view partnership as a whole, which makes the researches are mainly focused on the commonness of partnership. The status of supplier in partnership relies on the products they provide. Because of that, we need to do some research on the "characteristics" of partnership. Secondly, though there are lots of researches on partnerships, few are quantitative research. Qualitative research can identify the influential factors well, but can not explain the degree of their influence. So, we also need some quantitative researches.Therefore, according to the products suppliers provided, partnerships can be classified into four kinds. Moreover, we gathered, analyzed, and integrated the influential factors of partnerships of existing literatures. After that, we got 14 factors. Then we used factor analysis to analyze the data which are acquired by questionaring. Finally, we know the key factors in different types of partnerships.The dissertation contains five parts:Part one: Introduction. The dissertation introduced the background of research from two aspects: the development of partnerships and the differences between partnership and traditional supplier relationships. In this chapter, the dissertation also showed us the research path and innovative points.Part two: Related theories. There are three basic theories of this research: relationship marketing theory, transaction cost theory, and social exchange theory. In this chapter, the dissertation introduced their related concepts, basic viewpoints, and the effect for this research.Part three: Research design. In this part, the dissertation designed the research framework: partnerships can be classified into four kinds, according to the products that suppliers provided. Based on the literature review, the dissertation put forward 14 influential factors by gathering, analyzing and integrating. In addition, in this chapter, this dissertation mentioned some matters about questionnairing, including research object, questionnaires design, sample selection, and analysis methods.Part four: Data analysis. In this chapter, the dissertation analyzed the influential factors of different types of partnerships by factor analysis. Moreover, this dissertation also analyzed the whole factor index, by reliability, validity and correlation analysis.Part five: Conclusions and suggestions. The dissertation reviewed the results of the research in this chapter, and also pointed out the shortcomings.The innovative points are as follows:Firstly, because of the limitation of resources, the dissertation divided partnerships into 4 kinds: strategic partnership, technological partnership, contractual partnership, and important partnership, on the basis of the products' characteristics the suppliers provide. It can provide theoretic fundamental for supplier relationship management effectively.Secondly, from literature review, the dissertation gathered, analyzed and integrated the influential factors mentioned in existing literatures, and then put forward 14 influential factors..Thirdly, take Henan Xinfei Electrical Appliance Co., LTD as the object, the dissertation analyzed the influential factors of different types of partnerships by quesitionaring and factor analysis.
