Research On Sustainable Land Use Of Urban Fringe

With the fast development of urbanization and industrialization, Urban fringe has been one of the activest areas under the conjunct effects of rural urbanization and city expansion in China. But there are a lot of extrusive problems in land use at the same time and they can seriously restrict the sustaining and healthy development of urban fringe. So enhancing the research on sustainable land use of urban fringe has become a pressing task currently.This dissertation starts with sustainable land use on urban fringe land use. On the basis of former production, urban fringe is defined, the characteristics and problems of urban fringe land use in China are analyzed and the function and development mode of urban fringe are discussed. Considering the characteristic of research area, the method in appraisal of urban fringe land use is designed on the basis of analyzing and concluding the dominating appraisal mode of sustainable land use. Studying with Luoyang as an example, material development mode and basic countermeasure are put forward. The dissertation consists of five sections besides introduction and tag.Part I, the basic concept and theoretics on sustainable land use of urban fringe. This part includes the concept of urban fringe and basic theoretics. On the basis of reviewing and referring the research on urban fringe, urban fringe is defined newly and the method of demarcating its range is put forward; the basic theoretics include sustainable development, zoology and economy, harmony between human being and land, systematism and urban land economics.Part II, the characteristics and problems of urban fringe land use. After analyzing the characteristics and problems of urban fringe land use in China, it shows that there are characteristics in land use of the area, such as rapid increase on the land use for construction and high intensivism level on land use for agriculture , etc. At the same time, there are problems such as rapid decrease on cultivated land and low efficiency on land use for construction, etc.Part III, the function and development mode of urban fringe. It mainly discusses the function of urban fringe and puts forward four development modes of urban fringe, namely satellite town development, modern zoology agriculture development, entironment protection development and circulation development.Part IV, appraisal of urban fringe land sustainable use. At first, the meaning of sustainable land use is analyzed, the principle of appraisal is fixed on and then the basic appraisal mode of sustainable land use is summarized. So considering the research area itself, appropriate appraisal mode of urban fringe are put forward and the relevant system of guide line and method are constructed.Part V, urban fringe land sustainable use in Luoyang. Studying with Luoyang as an example, firstly urban fringe of Luoyang is demarcated and then the characteristic of land use in Luoyang city fringe and the main problem are analyzed. Whereafter, Luoyang city fringe land sustainable use are appraised in the unit of village and town, and then the sustainable development mode of each village and town is put forward. Finally, in order to improve the degree of sustainable land use of urban fringe in Luoyang, some suggestions and countermeasures are put forward.
