Research On Industry Cluster Modes In Regional Economy Development

The industrial cluster is worldwide economic phenomenon, such as the industrial cluster of information technology in the Silicon Valley and near No.128 Highway of USA, the industrial cluster of software in Bangalore, India, the industrial cluster of leather and clothes in Northern Italy, the industrial cluster of computers in Taiwan, China, etc. Practice has proved that the industrial cluster has become a common feature of today's industries with international competitive excellence, and is an important factor for enhancing industrial competitive power and forming regional competitive excellence. In the view of Macker Pott, a professor of University of Harvard, USA, the industrial cluster means a phenomenon that in a specific field (usually with one leading industry as the core) a large number of interrelated enterprises and support organizations concentrate in space and form a strong and continued competitive excellence. As global economy and economic integration are going faster and faster, competition of counties and regions is more and more grueling. The competitive advantage is more and more relying on the innovative ability of industry. The distinctive phenomenon of industrial cluster becomes a hot spot of theory study home and abroad.By now, internal related research has not go deep. Now available research on cluster mode is simply classifying the clusters as a concept before the research on the forming and advantages of cluster. Internal researcher Hu Yu classifies clusters into marketing innovation mode, FDI forming mode and inside brand enterprise driving mode. This has come to the forming mechanism and principal part of clusters, but it is not comprehensive and concrete.Firstly, this thesis commences with the industrial cluster theory study, expatiates on the concept, connotation and character of industrial cluster, introduces the actuality about industrial cluster modes study home and abroad, analyses the relationship between regional economy and industrial cluster.Then based on the prevenient theoretical research and practical experience in industrial clusters home and abroad, considering enterprise scale and connection, classifying the clusters by their forming mechanism and principal part, there are market guiding cluster, foreign capital importing cluster, inside brand driving cluster, government leading cluster and mixed cluster. Different modes affect cluster development differently because of the companies' competition and cooperation.The thesis uses theory analyses and case analyses, classifies and defines cluster mode. Vertical division of labor insufficiency, lack for innovation and management are problems in market guiding cluster. Foreign capital importing cluster has duplicate social links and core technique lock-in. The inside brand driving cluster should innovate study, advance competitive ability and network. Lock-in effect and system obstacle are main problems in government leading cluster.Based on the analysis, the thesis points out the development strategy and some suggestions of Chinese industrial cluster from the macroscopic view, medium view and the microcosmic view. From the macroscopic view, different regions should choose different industrial cluster modes according to the regional economy state. The government should make scientific develop programs of industrial cluster, accelerate innovation and regional culture development. From the medium view, the cluster should create and grow effective production factors, optimize the industrial structure, improve financing environment, absorb talented persons, perfect the agency service, develop the leading enterprise. From the microcosmic view, the enterprise should carry out technique innovation strategy, international strategy, enterprise cooperation strategy and talented person strategy, establish enterpriser harmonious mechanism and enterprise self-development mechanism.
