China's Information Industry Cluster Development Model Research

With the development of global economics, information industry has already beenone of the most important factors which can effect on the level of industry competition.Information industry plays a leading role in the industrial revolution. China formulatingthe12th Five-Year Program for China’s Economic and Social Development, it seems thenew-generation information technology industry as one of the seven new strategicindustries.The developing history of information industry in developed countries prove thatindustry cluster is the most effective way to make industry develop. Some of thesuccessful experience are equally applicable to developing countries. Althoughinformation industry has grown up since china’s opening up, it still has a huge distancefrom industry clusters in foreign countries. Research on formation mechanism andevolution law of information industry cluster, information industry cluster’s distributionand development, development pattern evaluation and comparison of typicalinformation industry clusters at home and abroad are of strategic significance forpromoting industrial development.In this paper, the cluster’s formation, cluster’s distribution and development modehas been analyzed base on the concepts and theories of the information industry cluster.Furthermore, it was comparatively analyzed the typical foreign information industryclusters’ mode, and summed up the successful experiences and put forward the strategicchoice of development of China’s information industrial cluster.
