The Research On Innovation Of Management System Of The Wuhan East Lake Scenic

As a crucial factor to stimulate tourists'trips, scenic and historic interests areas is an important component of the tourism system. It's also the core element of tourism products and the nucleus of tourism industry. However, compared with the development of the hotel and travel agents industry, the growth of scenic areas has seriously lagged behind at present, and is incompatible with the rapid expansion and fast development of the tourism industry. The status of scenic areas is the most vulnerable segment of tourism system, and must be solved as a focal point. Therefore, the management of scenic spots has become a hot topic in the academic circle as well as a key issue in the development of the tourism industry.The major problem in the study of the management of scenic areas is the management system. Thus, innovations in the management modes, establishment of healthy administration system which supports both the protection and the sustainable development of scenic areas, and creation of an effective operation mechanism, have become significantly important tasks.Based on the example of Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area, the author analyses the problems that exist in the policy support, transport and infrastructure conditions, area planning, construction and utilization of land, environmental and resource protection, public advertising and promotion and other aspects of the East Lake Scenic Area in this article. Suggestions about the key innovations of the management system and the countermeasures have been proposed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The author also points out that in order to enhance economic, social and environmental benefits of the East Lake Scenic Area, it is necessary to establish a quasi-government management agency, realize united scenic area administration, carry out tax distribution fiscal system, innovate operating mechanism, and consolidate and develop tourism resource, which is of practical and referential significance in both the tourist exploitation and operation management of the East Lake Scenic Area. This will also be of great significance in building up"Big East Lake Travel Circle", and accelerating the great-leap-forward development of the tourism and service industry of the city of Wuhan.
