Research For Application Of The Project Management Of Constonstruction Enterprise

The increasingly intense competition compels enterprises to change the original management mode so as to be adaptive to the dynamic changing inside and outside circumstances. Enterprise Project Management (EPM), as a new management mode, manifests its formidable vitality in connecting strategy and project, and in managing a multitude of projects. But for the EPM itself, the research of theory and its application is still at an elementary stage. We find it still inadequate for EPM in the research of its inner mechanism and function as well as its performance at present. Thus it comes a paradox that while some enterprises are on the up grade in business attribute to it, others may move haltingly in the process of its implementation.In consideration of the existing problems in the wide application and implementation of EPM, an entirety model of the project management will be made to promote the successful application of EPM. On the basis of the model, three difficult problems would be discussed. They are how to effectively work out an organizational scheme, how to utilize comprehensive resources and how to effectively establish a encouragement mechanism in the long-term task of implementing project management.The title of this paper originates from the practical problems in my work and becomes the main study in my recent work as well. It combines applied research with theory analysis. Apart from the establishment of the"entirety model of EPM"in the theory, with the analysis of the confronted problems in the running of the project-driven construction enterprise for more than ten years as well as with the momentous opportunity brought by the reshuffle of the enterprise, an overall Enterprise Project Management way of thinking would be adopted to explore such problems as an organizational scheme of multi-project construction enterprise, the comprehensive utilization of resources and a valid establishment of encouragement mechanism, thus promoting its implementation in my enterprise.The implementation of the project management in the state-owned enterprises, especially in the electric overhaul area, has not been implemented. Therfore, this title is of certain difficulty and advance. The elaboration of this paper will help the project management personnel to better acquaint with and make use of project management combined with their respective actual situation in the enterprises.
