Researching On Transition From Suburbs To Urban Communities

Urbanization is an economic and social phenomenon in the worldwide. It is one of the major strategic objectives and initiatives for the development of the economy and society of our country nowadays. There are many writings with different perspectives researching for the urbanization. With the perspective of regional transition, the subject of "the transition in perfect harmony from suburbs to urban communities can promote the development of the urbanization" has been proposed in this article on account of the three reasons as follows: First, regional transition is an important link in the process of urbanization. Region is a synthesis comprising the essential factors of economy, society, culture, etc. The process of urbanization says to a large extent the process of the transition of population, basic infrastructure, production and life style from suburbs to city; Second, from a regional perspective of view, the social problems and contradiction revealed in the process of urbanization at present have arisen essentially in the suburbs, and researching this subject is advantageous to the resolution of the problems and contradictions ; Third, carrying the work of transition in perfect harmony from suburbs to city a step forward is the inexorable claim for building a harmonious socialist society.The suburb defined in this article is not a broad regional conception, but means the rural area which has been brought into line with the city construction overall plan and is about to build as a city during the period of the city construction overall plan. It analyses first in this article the different and similar characters of the economy, culture, social structure and administration between in suburbs and in ordinary rural area or urban communities, which is regarded as the beginning to research the transition from suburbs to urban communities. And to follow, the author analyses the present contradictions and problems appearing in the process of the transition from suburbs to urban communities of our country, which the author thinks, are caused foundmentally by the long-term system of separating urban and rural areas of our country.Resolving the contradictions and problems and promoting the transition in perfect harmony is the starting point and the stopping-over point for researching this subject. On the base of the analysis of contradictions and problems it proposes the conception of the transition in perfect harmony from suburbs to urban communities and expounds the character of the transition in perfect harmony.It states in this article the ways of transition in perfect harmony and emphasizes that the innovative systems have the overall importance to the transition. Therefore, the innovation of the household system, the land system, the employment system, and the social security sytem has been discussed emphatically in this article and all the systems have been innovated centering on the transition in perfect harmony from suburbs to city. At the last of this article, it inquires deeply into the problem of innovating the systems for improving the administation to the suburbs and promoting the transition in perfect harmony from suburbs to city.
