A Rational Thought Of The Urbanization Strategy Transition In Jiangsu

With the changes of society and economy condition, there are many different development stages and modes during the course of urbanization. Taking Jiangsu as an example, this paper reviews the background of the "urbanization strategy" in Jiangsu, analyzes the achievements and problems of Jiangsu after actualizing "urbanization strategy". Then directing towards these problems and the macroscopical condition for urbanization, the author points out the impendence of urbanization strategy transition;basing on the domestic and international experience, indicates the connotation and direction for urbanization strategy transition of Jiangsu. In the end, this paper gives the corresponding measure by virtue of analyzing the actuality of Jiangsu urbanization development.Firstly, the author analyzes the effect of Jiangsu after actualizing urbanizationstrategy, and indicates that regarding quantity increase, despising quality connotation,ignoring district and urban-rural, poor economic results of input-output in urbandevelopment etc. This chapter points out there will come into urbanization transitioncourse.Secondly, the author sums up the new form for urbanization in Jiangsu, roundly analyzes the new circumstance of urbanization transition, thinks "Construct Urbanization of Jiangsu" as the aim of urban development, indicates the connotation and direction for urbanization strategy transition of Jiangsu,that is to say the aims of urbanization are "Urban Modernization, County Urbanization,Construct Urbanization of Jiangsu".Thirdly, taking cities and counties as examples, this chapter combines qualitative study with quantitative study, systematacially discusses the actual state and problem during the city and county development, then presents the direction and strategy for urban and county urbanization transition.Lastly, by virtue of the aim of the urbanization strategy, the author analyzes the economy-society transition and the measures adapting to the transition: having a change from extensive model to intensive model, building urbanization society and flowage society, finally actualizing sustainable development among economy, society andzoology.
