Tourism is a common desire of people,whether rural or urban residents all have the desire to travel in order to enhance the pursuit of spiritual and cultural realm.At present,tourism has become necessary part of life of largely urban residents.The demand of majority of rural residents which account for absolute majority of the population doesn't receive enough attention due to various reasons.It's not in line with the construction of harmonious society and the enhancement of international competition of tourism industry.This thesis takes Shouguang in Shandong province as an example and uses literature, multidisciplinary research,social survey and research methods and statistical method,reviewing and summing up the theories and practices about the development of tourism market,on the basis of theories of tourism product development,consumer behavior,marketing at home and abroad.At last it puts forward the strategies of developing the rural residents' tourism market.This article subject partially includes the following four parts:The first part is the theoretical basis for the article.It outlines the origins of topics,the significance of topics,research ideas,methods and summing up and reviewing related research results at home and abroad.The second part demonstrates the feasibility of developing rural residents' tourism market from the economic income,leisure time,marketing support,industry support and increased spiritual needs of rural residents and other factors.Then,this part analyses adverse factors in developing the rural residents tourism market from their own reasons,reasons for the tourism market,consumer credit disadvantage,the lack of propagation media,last sums up the overall rural residents travel characteristics.The third part analyzes the questionnaire of the rural areas in Shouguang from the demographic characteristics,tourism cognitive characteristics,travel experience,travel demand characteristics. The analysis supplies the data support for the development of the tourism market.The fourth part puts forward the strategies of developing the rural residents tourism market in developed areas.from raising awareness,raising income of rural residents,changing their consumption concept,development of tourism products,implemented at a low price-based pricing strategy,to take effective promotional Strategy,the correct implementation of the tourism travel agency business strategy,formulating a special market policy.The new notion of this paper is connecting our current social issues such as constructing harmonious society,the resolution of agricultural,farmers,rural areas problems and the long-term development of tourism industry with rural residents' travel.At last,this paper puts forward the strategies of the rural residents tourism market development.
