| Currently, relationship between emotion and decision making is attracting more and more attention. This thesis firstly introduced the research paradigm of risk decision making and evolution of the research on emotion in risk decision making. The paradigm consists of standard paradigm, descriptive paradigm and evolutionary paradigm. And the emotion which has impact on risk decision making can fall into two categories: one is the integral affect, the other is the incidental affect, which is the focus of the current research. Based on valence of emotion, most of the researches on incidental affect choose to explore impact of different valence on risk decision making. However, the emotion with the same valence may have different impact on decision making. Based on previous researches, the current research chose two of the emotions people usually experience in their daily life, i.e. anger and fear, to explore the impact of the two negative emotions on decision making. There were two experiments in this study, and two tasks, i.e.gamble decision making and invest decision making were performed in the two experiments respectively. The subjects were asked to complete the tasks after watching short films inducing anger and fear.study One aims to see the impact of induced anger and fear on gamble decision making. The results showed that different negative emotion has different impact on decision making, which can be seen from the fact that the subjects in anger were more risk taking than those in the controlled group. In addition, subjects of different age made different risk decision making due to different extent of emotion they experienced. Compared with the college students, the middle school students were more risk seeking in the emotion of anger while the former tent to be more risk taking with emotion inducement.study Two aims to see the impact of induced anger and fear on invest decision making. The research results showed that different negative emotion has different impact on risk decision making, compared with the controlled group, the subjects in the fear scence are more risk averse. Secondly, different negative emotion has no impact on risk evaluation. Thirdly, in the fear scene, "surprise" has good positive predictive effect and in the anger scene, disgust and happiness have good positive predictive effect on risk evaluation. All in all, the current research further proved that specific emotions have different impact on risk decision making and also did a developmental research. The future research are expected to take the variable of individual difference into consideration and should adopt the perspective of ecology focus on the real process of decision making in natural situations. |
