A Study On Regulation Problem Of Internet Cafes Industry

Internet cafes has special economic and social value, but also brings about a series of social problems. Therefore, the government has constantly strengthened regulation on it. Based on the research of regulation problem in Internet cafes industry, the author made a number of recommendations in order to promote healthy development of this industry and accelerate the process of informatization in China.The article is divided into four parts.The first part analyzes the reasons of regulation on Internet cafes, including the special inherent attributes in Internet cafes and the external economic effects.The second part reviews the regulation practice on Internet cafes at home and abroad. China's regulation on Internet cafes is divided into three stages:the unregulated period, the birth of regulation and the deepening regulation. We can draw a lot of experiences from the developed countries.The third part analyzes the regulation problems in Internet cafes industry. Based on the considerations of the regulation basis, the regulation organs and the regulation measures, this article pointed out the existing issues.Part IV puts forward some ideas. It suggested that the Internet cafes industry should be an industry that spreads information and culture, the regulation on this industry should be released gradually.
