Study On Income Problem In Poor Areas

Through thirties' development of reformation and economy, the socialist modernization construction has made great achievement in our society. Nowadays, the reformation steps into critical period. However, disharmony is still there such as in-coordination between the paces of the social progress and the development of national economy, especially the enlarging gap between the rich and the poor. In poor areas, many problems existed, for instance, weak resisting risk ability, backward development. These caused low income and week life quality of peasant as well as the reason that caused the phenomenon of enlarging gap between rich peasant and poor peasant. Based on this point, it is important to increase the income of peasant in poor areas.The study takes Tianlin County, Guangxi as an example and investigates the problem about income of households in poor areas. The result displays that the basic characteristics of peasant in poor areas is low of income, unreasonable structure of income, higher net income of higher multiple Job-holding, difficulty of loan, and so on. The reason of low income of in poor areas due to bad resources environment, unreasonable system arrangement, low development degree of market, low cultural quality of peasant, and insufficient of production input. Among these, the bad resources environment is the main reason. According to the quantitative analysis, factors which influence income among household are arranged in a row of farmland area, multiple Job-holding, market developmental situation, productive equipment and livestock total value, agriculture input, and labor force associate with their significance. At the end, Countermeasures and suggestions are suggested: perfect rural relief system, strengthen infrastructure construction, reform land property right system, improve culture quality and labor skill, build Small Town, construct agricultural products market, develop degree of farmers' organization, and innovative rural monetary system.
