Building CAFTA provides an opportunity to the rational industrial division between Guangdong and Guangxi. The theme of the thesis is to accomplish industrial upgrading through the industrial tie-in mode under the background of industrial transfer. The practice of international industrial transfer confirmed a fact that industrial transfer promoted the upgrading of industrial structure, and the industrial tie-in mode was the most effective way to realize it. Fistly, the study on the relevant international and intra-national theories and research provides a reliable theoretical basis for the analysis of real situation. Secondly, the analysis of the status quo and upgrading goal of industrial structure of Guangdong and Guangxi reasons the necessity to carry on industrial transfer and industrial linkup; the comparison between the relevant economic data of the two places argues the feasibility of industrial grade transfer; the statement on the practical connection between Guangdong and Guangxi, such as the similar culture and border up geography, demonstrates objective elements to the industrial transfer. Then, proposing the idea of through the industrial tie-in mode to accomplish industrial transfer between the two places, and then to promote the industrial structure upgrading, which is actually an important advice from the point of the practical way. In addition, since local governments play an important role in the process of industrial linkup, the function of the government to promote the process of industrial transfer and upgrading is discussed in the final part of the thesis. Simultaneously, the relevant advice on the political point of view is proposed.
