Research On The Spatial Structure Model Of The Regional Tourism System

The spatial structure of regional tourism system is often as accumulative results' spatial movement and regional choices in the course of regional tourism development. And the research on spatial structure model is not only very important for the development of regional tourism, but also for avoidance spatial competition among different scenic and regional tourism planning.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is a preface, including the background and meaning for choosing this title, the method applied, the research contents and its study framework.The second part is research development and related theories. It summarizes firstly the mainly domestic and international research development of tourism spatial structure. And then, sum up the fundamental theories for the research of tourism spatial structure.The third part is the research on the constructing spatial structure model of regional tourism system and its evolvement. Regional tourism system in this paper refers to an organic whole consisting of destination system, origins system and transportation system. As a whole, the spatial structure model of regional tourism system is a network composed of three sub-system, that are destination system and origins system connected by transportation system, and taken destination system as its center. On the other hand, tour destination system is a network composed of tour nodes linked by travel routes, and taken the administration district as boundary. The evolvement character of the regional tourism system's spatial structure is explained from two sides. The evolvement of tour destination system's spatial structure has three forms, which are single-core spatial structure, pole-axis spatial structure and network spatial structure. The network of regional tourism system is continuously extending with the development of tour origins system. And its spatial structure is irregular and following the travel line extend.The fourth part is the research on the spatial structure of tourism system in Yueyang district. It analyses especially the present condition of three sub-systems spatial structure. It is a single-core spatial structure of tour destination system. The network of tourism system is extending with the development of tour origins system in Yueyang district. Its spatial structure is irregular and forms a "+"pattern spatial structure because of the transportation system. Lastly, on the basis of the analysis mentioned above, it discusses the development trend of the spatial structure, and puts forward methods to optimize the spatial structure of tourism system in Yueyang district.The fifth part is a conclusion. The author summarizes and explores the main achievements of this thesis as well as work to be done for further improvement.The innovation of this thesis roots in constructing spatial structure model of regional tourism system on the base of the spatial structure model of destination system, and analysis its evolvement character and trends.
