Study On The Lingang New City' Industry And Spacial Allocation Along The Yangtze River

International industry transfer and upgrading accelerate the process of economic globalization. Harbor areas along the Yangtze River have been paid more attention to, for the important region of accepting industry transfer and guiding the industry upgrading with its dominant position. Harbor area should have its industry and space effectively organized to grasp the opportunity, meet the challenges and highlight its importance in the region and city's socio-economic development.The paper, with the goal of coordinating development of the port, industry and urban, discusses the Lingang new city'development along the Yangtze River from the perspective of industry and space. Firstly, based on the analysis of the degree of industries' relevancy, port-centered advantages and the Yangtze River "dual-gradient" on the impact of industry, it makes the choice of the port industry clear. It maintains that the industrial Cluster should be strengthened, with the supporting of the correct industry choice and the organization mean of port industrial Cluster. Based on the analysis of internal and external dynamic, port industrial evolution is divided into two stages of general and selective gathering concentrated. Secondly, with analyzing the typical space case analysis along the Yangtze River and combing the relating theory of urban spatial structure, it analyze the Lingang New City's spatial structure and character and define the evolution of its space in four phases. Generalizing the analysis of the space and industry, it propose Lingang New City's four layout models.Finally, making use of the above conclusion of the study on industry and space, combining the actual situation of Jiujiang City, it discusses the industry and spatial layout of Jiujiang Lingang New City. Based on the industry analysis of Jiujiang, the paper advance the ideas of the Lingang New City's industry development. Conjuncing with the Lingang New City's outside and inside space analysis, it submit to the space layout pattern of "two-banks two-axis three-pieces", based on the model of the band section.
