Job analysis is the footstone of human resource management, but with the advent ofthe knowledge-based economy and the development of economic globalization, theconcept of traditional job analysis in the practice of enterprises is facing more and morechallenges. In this paper, while insists on the foundation status of job analysis, it'sthrough analyzing the upbuild-method of competence model, combined to the generalideas of the effective practice of job analysis in enterprises, put forward the researchideas and process design of JobAnalysis based on the Competency Model.Job Analysis based on Competency Model is a method of job analysis at the core ofpost analysis and adding the competent characteristics. This paper made a combinationof traditional job analysis methods which research "post (job)" and the analysis ideas ofCompetency which research "the competency of employee", which researched anddesigned the general flow and analysis method of job analysis based on competencymodel in Chinese enterprises by using the upbuild-ideas and effective job analysismethod of competency model, showed the principle of "people-post-organization"matching, and deepen the basic role of job analysis in the HRM.
