Research On Innovation Capability Of Knowledge-Intensive Business Service

The great changes of economy and technology initiate the times of service knowledgeization, then the new service industry knowledge-intensive business service (KIBS), is emerged. And the innovation activities of KIBS are coming into the research field of innovation theory. KIBS is such a knowledge-based industry that provides services for other industries, enterprises (organizations) or persons. Service process is the process of knowledge producing, transferring and using; in the process, knowledge brings about value. The products of KIBS are usually consulting report, technological programme, operating methods, computer software and judgments and suggestions on work, making policy and action; including finance, insures, the education, consultation, information, telecom, the provided and delivered material flow, computer software and information processed and served, research and develop and test service, market service, commercial affair organization service (management consulting, staff's recruitment service) and content relatively high knowledge with human resources development, needing certain professional engineering level and service industries of the scientific research level.Recent years, in our country, such these developed regions as Beijing and Shanghai have put forward thinking of KIBS as the economic development's key point. Tianjin is the largest opening coastal city of North China and the economic center of the Bohai Coastal Region. Speeding up development of modern service industry is necessary for Tianjin's economic and social development. On knowledge-based economy times, innovation becomes the force of economic growth. Therefore, it is deeply significant to research on KIBS innovation of Tianjin.The thesis analyzes and elaborates innovation mechanism and processes of knowledge-intensive business service, includes power of driving innovation, process of knowledge producing and transferring, KIBS innovation determinants and innovation patterns. In terms of the current development of Tianjin knowledge-intensive business service, through research and analysis on influential factors of regional KIBS innovation capability, it sets up indicators of evaluating KIBS innovation capability. It evaluates comprehensively the innovation capability of KIBS for nine regions in Eastern part of our country by the factor analysis method and cluster analysis method, especially for Tianjin,then finds out existing problems of KIBS innovation in Tianjin. Based on the analysis of the present situation and practical confirmation, according to the existing problems of KIBS innovation in Tianjin, it provides some relative, practical and feasible measures for Tianjin KIBS innovation capability's improvement.
