Research On Innovation Capability Of Knowledge Intensive Business Service

With the development of the world economy and the continuous escalation ofthe industrial structure, the service sector has gradually become the engine of economicdevelopment in developed countries and played a dominant role. Especially theknowledge-intensive business is rapid development which is an important branch ofservice industry. Featured with advanced knowledge, high specialty, theknowledge-intensive business services, often referred to as KIBS, the role of which inpromoting the economic development and has become increasingly highlighted, and ithas become the significant momentum in propelling the stable development of economy.The KIBS is a kind of industry based on professional knowledge and emergingtechnologies, an industry mainly provides a high intellectual value-addedknowledge-intensive products or services. It is the industry that relies on knowledge toprovide assistance for other businesses, organizations and individuals, the process ofwhich is the assistance, prior to knowledge to collect, arrange and then put into practiceand promotion. From this process, we can achieve the proliferation of knowledge.Based on the already existed theoretical research results both abroad anddomestic, this article is mainly focused on the innovative ability of KIBS, types andcharacteristics collate, but also on the knowledge-intensive service industries innovativecontent, business processes and innovative mechanisms to conduct a comprehensiveexposition.It analyzed the definition, features and classification of KIBS in detail.Connotations of its innovatin, and the characteristics, impacts, capacities, modes of KIBShave also been explained at length. In this article, I established evaluation index systemof innovation ability of KIBS, and took eight provinces and cities in the eastern coast ofChina as samples, I used factor analysis method to make a comparison of the KIBSinnovation ability among the eight provinces and cities based on statistical data, andmade a comprehensive assessment on its innovation ability. After analyzing in detail therankings and advantages (disadvantages) of the KIBS innovation ability, conclusion ofaffecting factors and reasons caused the differences would be made. At last, with the help of empirical analysis method, I proposed that based on the modern manufacturingindustry to support the development of modern service industry and increase innovationresources into optimizing KIBS innovation environment, and many other aspects ofpractical measures to improve innovative KIBS capability.
