With the moving forward of the advanced education system reform, the number of college graduates expands extremely. As a result, the employment of college students is facing severe competition and challenge. As the special group of college graduates, college students from poor families are eager to find jobs under more pressures. Supposing a college student from poor family can be employed, not only can his living problem be resolved, but also he can support the whole family, which is significant to maintain the stability and development of the whole society. However, with the increase of employment cost, the college graduate students from poor families are always in weak position in finding jobs, due to the restriction of their own material conditions and influence of the competitive environment in society; in addition, there still remain some unfair phenomenon during the process of college graduates employment because of the unregulated and unimproved system of our country's job market, which cause most of college graduate students from poor families remains a apparently inferior position. According to the incomplete statistical data, the rate of employment of college graduate students from poor families is about 10% lower than the average college employment rate. Relevant survey shows that compared with the students from the better conditioned families, the ones from the poor families sign in later time, lower rate and inferior position in employment.As the weak group in employment, the enhancement of the employment competitive ability for the students from low-income families has become an imperative problem which needs to be solved promptly. How to better deal with the problem of employment competitive ability for the college students from low-income families is related to thousands of families as well as to the missions of universities and education, what's more, is related to the social stability and the future of our country.Starting from the status quo of the students from the low-income family and be based on the relevant data both at home and aboard, this paper gives a thorough analysis of the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, challenges and other factors which affect the obtaining of employment of the students from low-income families in the higher educational schools by applying an international analytical method—SWOT. According to the analytical results of the SWOT, this paper carries 6ut a compositor for the correlation and the extent of the influence of the factors which influence the obtaining of employment of students from the low-income families, accordingly to which a contra posing matrix for the employment competitive ability of students from low-income families is designed. View from the SWOT matrix, this paper proposes an Omni directional supporting system, which includes self-helping supporting, school supporting and social supporting in conformity to the order of primary to secondary, inter-causation to external-causation, subjective to objective, and macro to micro. By constructing of this system, much help is expecting to make in increasing the employment competitive ability of the students from low-income families.
