Evaluation On Rural Poverty Reduction Policies In Gansu Province

Since the beginning of reform and opening up, the poverty alleviation works in rural areas in Gansu Province have launched more than 20 years. Based on the situation of rural poverty in Gansu Province, national and provincial governments have taken many implementations of the targeted rural poverty reduction policies. This paper wants to have evaluation on rural poverty reduction policies in Gansu Province.On the basis of relevant theories,it grasps accurately the situation of rural poverty and anti-poverty policies in Gansu Province, analyzes the anti-poverty funds.Then,it takes evaluations on rural poverty reduction policies in Gansu Province in overall situation.At last,it conductes case analysis of HX Village, discovers some problems and makes some recommendations.This paper has the conclusion that rural poverty reduction policies in Gansu Province have played an important role in terms of reducing rural poverty-stricken population, increasing agricultural outputs, improving the income of the farmers, their living standards, rural infrastructure and the local ecological environment, optimizing the economic structure of agriculture, and changing the mental outlook of the farmers. But there are also some problems in the course of implementing. For enhancing the effectiveness of rural poverty reduction policies, we must focus on helping the poor in the leak of governance elements.
