Study On Strategic Alliance Of SMLEs Under Trade Integration

At present, the extensive economic globalization drives the rapid development of trade integration and forms a new and strong wave. The extensive and in-depth development of trade integration has had a significant impact on the economy and trade of all the countries. Trade integration eliminates trade barriers, increases trade effects, and raises the level of competition in the international market.Trade integration offers opportunities for the development of Chinese logistics enterprises, and also brings Chinese logistics industry to face more challenges. The major issue of the Chinese SMLEs is decentralization. Therefore strategic alliance is very suitable for Chinese SMLEs. However, the strategic alliances of Chinese logistics enterprises are still generally in the low level of development because of certain blindness of the alliances.This paper first introduces information on the current research status of strategic alliance, and elaborates the basic theory on strategic alliance, including the definition of the concept, the classification, as well as various development causes in strategic alliances. Then the paper proposes the necessity for the Chinese SMLEs to establish strategic alliances by analyzing the status quo of Chinese SMLEs. Then the paper mainly discusses the issue of selecting strategic alliance partners. First, the paper details how to establish the evaluation indicators system of strategic alliance partner selection, and puts forward the "three-phase" opt-model, and establishes the theoretical and practical basis for the SMLEs to make a accurate and reasonable choice in a short period of time by analyzing the successful cases on horizontal and vertical alliances.
