Study On The Convergence Of Agriculture And Tourism In The Process Of Coordinatiing The Development Of Urban And Rural Areas

Coordinating the development of urban and rural areas, is the important strategic policy about the relationship between them in China at the present. The starting point of it is the industry development. The development of countryside, is not merely supported by the fund, but also by development of industry even more. When the urban and rural form the mutual supplement with each other's advantages of the industry, and the countryside has the capability of self-development, the coordinating the development of urban and rural will be reached.Since the 21st century, the development of the world industry has shown the trend of convergence. The industry under converging appears more competitive, and can meet the new need of the market much better. As a basic industry, Agriculture is the main industry department of the countryside in our country at present. While tourism , which is a rising industry, has already become one of the china's pillar industries of economies. And its position and role in urban economy has been gradually increased. Also its effect on pulling urban economy, driving social employment, promoting the culture and environment has been emerging increasingly. The integration of the two can be very good for enhancement interaction and exchange between countryside and city, and can bring an advance in coordinating the development of urban and rural areas.On the basis of the theories of coordinatiing urban and rural development and industry convergence, this paper analyzes the dynamic,process and role of the convergence of agriculture and tourism in the process of coordinating the unban and rural development. Moreover, this paper analyzes the status of Zigong city Ziliu district in the south of Sichuan province for the case, and gives the policy recommendations on the purpuse of providing a new idea to the policy-makers.The full text is divided into five parts. Part one is Introduction, Part two is the theory Analysis, which introduces the relevant theories of coordinating urban and rural areas and the industry combination. Part three is the study on the convergence of agriculture tourism in the process of coordinating the urban and rural development, which analyzes the the dynamic, process and role of the convergence. Part four is analyse on the agriculture and tourism convergence in the process of coordinating urban and rural development , taking Zigong city Ziliu district as an example. Part five is the policy recommendations.
