With the advances of science and technology, mankind has entered the times of large-scale production and development .According to this, large enterprises and projects haveemerged naturally. Meanwhile, SMEs are in fierce competition for a place in the market andare actively trying to strong themselves.Management consulting was vividly called the"the out-brain", it can help enterprises andentrepreneurs, by means of addressing the management and operation of such issues, toidentify and seize business opportunities for development, to maximize businessinvestment to avoid risks to enterprises development strategy tailored models, to strengthenstudy and implement changes to achieve the enterprise's development goals. Therefore, basedon the backdrop of knowledge and the continuous economic development , managementconsulting companies can continue the way of knowledge transfer means, from this, its roleand position can be imagined.It is well known that most part of China are undergoing a overall economic restructuring ,and also that domestic enterprises are taking how to change the traditional mode ofeconomic growth as a major task and mission. Because of this, management consulting onthe role of business is increasingly obvious. Therefore, it is necessary for us to grasp thecomprehensive understanding of the current management consulting market of China in orderto be more scientific and effective in guiding practice.Based on lots of data, and by comparing, computing and concluding of them, writer haspreliminary analyzed the current situations of management consulting services in China's,including market penetration ,the size of the different enterprise's tendencies ofmanagement consulting, and also the characteristics of domestic and internationalmanagement consulting firms and so on that about a series of management consulting marketsituation. And on this basis, I have summed up the existing problems and shortcomings ofmanagement consulting industry in current China. Writer not only face to these problems anddeficiencies but also combine the advantages of management consulting firms of China, atlast, methods and countermeasures were made on how to resolve, to change the unfavorablesituation of these.This paper is divided into five parts: Part I, to narrate the definition ,kinds and roles ofmanagement consulting; PartⅡ, generally illustrate the domestic and internationalmanagement consulting industry in the development of the overall status ;PartⅢ,systematically analyze the current situation of domestic management consulting market;Part IV, summarize the existing problems and shortcomings in China's management consulting industry; Part V, to research and advise the countermeasures of the existingproblems and inadequacies.
