On The Tourism Service Trade Between Vietnam And China

Starting from the relationship of the international tourism, service trade, international tourism, and the tourism service trade, from the point of the view that tourism service trade can be researched from the international economic relationship, this dissertation analyzes the international tourism from the point of the view that it can be seen as an economic phenomena—an international transfer and inter-trade which is brought into commodity and service,and further make it clear of the connotation, the types, the characters, the scope and the property of tourism service trade. Reviewing from the current research of the tourism service trade between China and Viet Nam, we can know that the research of the western researchers can be divided into three phases, but there's nobody notice the service trade between China and Vietnam, not to say the tourism service trade between them. Researchers of China do know something about the service trade, but not very much about the tourism service trade. It also has some research on the Vietnam and China tourism which are mainly about the border traveling. There few Vietnam researchers do research on the tourism between China and Vietnam, and we even there's nobody researches it from the angel of traveling service trade.Both Vietnam and China had experienced war and convulsion, In standing by the mast of Socialism and Labor Party, the Communist Party, Viet Nam and China adopted Social Innovation and reform and opening-up, which propelled them towards a life of economy rapid development. The economy of both Viet Nam and China has grown a lot in the past few years, the bilateral relationship in political, trade and economic and technology cooperation, and other bilateral exchange and cooperation relationship goes well. Vietnam and China solved frontier problem, and signed some significant bilateral agreement.The tourism service trade between China and Vietnam has been going on very well, the formal expressions of it are inbound tourism, outbound passengers and border tourism. The traffic convenience between China and Vietnam, the frequently exchange of the people of China and Vietnam, the close of the countries' basic conditions, the same support which the governments supply to the industry, all of what will be advantages to the cooperation of the tourism service trade between China and Vietnam. Whereas, Vietnam developed the inbound tourism industry a little late, so he tempo is relatively slow. The number of the inbound passengers from China to Vietnam has been going up steadily for several decades through the efforts and supports of China to Vietnam. More over, as the income of the Vietnamese is increasing, Vietnam export trade of tourism service to China is continuously expanding. The cooperation prospect of Vietnam and China in tourism trade is very well in a mass as Vietnam and China have friendly relations, and promote to the tourism trade of FTA, the huge potential for the cooperation in tourism trade between Vietnam and China.The development is mainly influenced by economic situations and policy conditions. But the trade barriers between Vietnam and China consist of the service trade is most important essentially. For the tourists, the amount limit of border, the procedure limit of border, the limit of carrying foreign exchange, the limit of procedure scot, the using of the foreign exchange after entry a country, the limit of exchange, price discrimination for inbound tourist, all of them form the trade barriers. For the tourism businessman, the limit of practicing right, the limit of interest, the discrimination scot, foreign exchange control, government compensation and government procurement form the trade barriers too. Moreover, the limit of the procedure to enter a country, the limit of work permits, the limit of professional certificate form a service trade barrier for the foreign employee.Beyond this, both China and Vietnam have their own problems. In order to develop the tourism service trade well, the traffic of the both countries, the service of reception, the human resource quality need to be improved. The tourism market in Vietnam has been protected for a long time, and it is closed. Tourism facilities and foundation facilities are underachieving, the country investment is little, both'soft'and'hard'circumstances are not consummate. The organization of the tourism industry is inconsequence, and competitive system is lacked. The supply of the domestic tourism commodity is not enough. Nevertheless, the tourism industry of China is in the transferring process from disorder to order, and the accrual rate is faster than the growth of the market, the disorder of the tourism industry is hard to be ended. The sustainable and sound development has some potential crisis.International communion and trade economic and trade liberalization is improving the cooperation and development between Vietnam and China. Under the cooperation system of FTA, both Vietnam and China have made their promise in the China-Vietnam service trade agreement. The development potential of each country's tourism also provide fundamental basis for Vietnam and China's tourism service trade. To decrease of the trade barriers, the accelerating of the traffic construction, the improving of the reception service, the development of social economic and the enhance of communication for each other will advance the development of the tourism service trade between China and Vietnam.The creation of this dissertation is as follows: Starting from the situation of the tourism trade between Vietnam and China, based on the background of the construction of trade liberation area to research the tourism service trade between Viet Nam and China, to try to have an instructional effort for the trade. The limitations of this dissertation are as follows: As the limited referenced information, and the time limit, it's hard to gather data so that the problems are unavoidable.
