The Research Of BOT In Large-scale Infrastructure Construction Projects

Public infrastructure makes a great contribution to country's economic construction and development and reflects one country's comprehensive national strength and economic development degree. To the developing countries, strengthen the building of public infrastructure is their top priority. In order to reduce the government's financial burden, the Project financing of Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) is one of the best strategy.This paper studies the theory of BOT, analyzes the main features and risks of public infrastructure financing from the domestic and international public infrastructure financing status. In the end of the paper, it gives a method of using BOT to build public infrastructure,gives some advises in future study.
