| The foundation of Xi'an Chan-Ba Ecological District is a significant strategic action of the Xi'an Municipal government. After three years of development and construction, the development zone has made eye-catching achievements in development, while facing new challenges and opportunities. This paper, employing the qualitative as well as quantitative approaches and the empirical analysis methods based on the theories of competitive stratey,core competence and Poter's five forces model, using the "four transformations" concept proposed by Xi'an Municipal government and the foundation of Chan-Ba Ecological District as research background, conducts a research on the development strategy of the Xi'an Chan-Ba Development Co. Ltd, in order to provide the scientific support for the company's decision-making.This essay studies the development strategy of Xi'an Chan-Ba Development Ltd., Corp., generalizing the home and foreign business strategy theories and successful applications. At first, it analyzes the external macro-surrounding of the corporation by means of PEST, in the meantime applies the five models of Porter competition to study the micro-surrounding of the corporation. Secondly, the paper gives an objective evaluation to the present internal resources conditions based on its former performance and the present operation. Furthermore, it points out clearly the strong and weak points of the enterprise together with its opportunities and future threats through SWOT model. Finally, the development strategy of 'harmonious and middle-speed flexibility corporate development strategy' is drawn; the corresponding strategy ideas, stage division, functional orientation as well as strategic objectives are also made out. Certainly, this essay explains the principle and control measures by which the proposal strategy is to carry out so as to ensure the accomplishment of the development strategy.The results of the paper is expected to be of important reference value for the operation of Chan-Ba Development Co, Ltd., and could be generalized to development groups and companies in other Development Zones. |
