As China enters WTO, the globalization of economy is deepening and international corporations are increasing. Companies at home not only are faced with the fierce competition of foreign companies which have a high level of management, but also need to improve the operating ability which is necessary in international business management. The comprehensive management level and the overall planning capability are especially important for domestic project construction corporations to enhance the level of project management.Progress management is one of the three main functions of project management and a vital branch of it. which regards process control as the key step to ensure the punctual completion of the project. This essay is based on basic principles of project management and process control; puts emphasis on analyzing progress management and process plan, especially the planning technology of network by combining the practical implementation process of the aniline project of the DX Construction Company of Sionpec with drawing up the project plan, optimizing the working schedule, assigning the project's work and carrying out the plan.This essay begins with the significance of the paper's title, illustrates the theories of project management and the concept of the planning technology of network. Meanwhile, it introduces the development of project management software, mainly studies the management of the DX Construction Company's aniline project and the implementation of the plan, which includes the following points: Drawing up a Progress Plan. It means analyzing the original background information of the aniline project, working out primary plan according to the schedule, resources and requirements through application of the network planning technology, which makes a strong position for the progress management.Delegating work of the project. It is based on principles of the network planning technology to optimize, decompose and adjust the tentative progress plan in order to meet requirements of the working schedule. Controlling progress of the project. It demands making dynamic monitoring of the project's completion so that it makes sure prompt adjustment and renewal in case of changes during the working process.This essay combines theoretical research with real practice, applies the network planning technology to traditional projects with the foundation of theoretical and practical development and application of project management, which is general for reference to improve management in various kinds of industries.
