The Performance Evaluation Of Listed Companies Based On Individual Investors

Medicine industry possesses characters of high growth and high profit. As excellent representatives, the listed pharmaceutical companies have attracted general investors' interests for their good prospects and expending demand market. However, because of the specialized financial report and information disclosure, there are many limitations for the investors to understand their actual situations.In view of the fact that the achievement made by the listed company is an important performance valuating aspect, the scientific and effective performance evaluation is a worthy discussing topic, which is vital to the investment opportunities discovery for the investors and the enhancement of the competitive power for the listed pharmaceutical companies.In review of the of development process of evaluating the operating performance of the pharmaceutical companies home and abroad, we established a set of evaluating system for the listed pharmaceutical companies base on the investor's interests.This system is composed of 12 indicators. We made a performance; evaluation to the listed pharmaceutical companies in the following four aspects: profit ability, the credit capacity, operating ability condition and the development power.After the establishment of the performance evaluation indictor system of the listed pharmaceutical companies, we adopt RSR and gray relevance degree to evaluate the performance of these companies. We get the order of the listed pharmaceutical companies by using SPSS and Excel. In addition, this paper also utilizes DEA assessment system to evaluate the performance of the listed pharmaceutical companies. The DEA index system contains 7 indexes that reflect the input and output level. We adopt C~2R model used in data enveloped analysis as the evaluation model, MATLAB programming is also applied to calculate the comparative operating efficiency for each listed pharmaceutical company .After that, we use DEA cross-evaluation to analysis the rank of these companies.To cope with the deviation in the results of performance evaluation as using three different methods: RSR analysis, gray relevance analysis, DEA cross-evaluation, we use the refined Fuzzy Borda which is one method of combinatorial evaluation to get a more comprehensive and objective evaluation results.Finally, according to the results of this paper, further research work is proposed.
