The Urban-rural integration, as the advanced stage during the development of the urbanization, is the natural product with the development of productivity. It benefits the deep of the theory and plays the role in the construction of the urban-rural integration in the west regions during the research of the urban-rural integration of Cheng Du.The paper analyzed the development mode of urban-rural integration in Chengdu and the difficulties in the practice and on the basic of which it proposed the corresponding responses through the practices and theories of urban-rural integration of the resources in and out. Firstly, it is on my own understanding of urban-rural integration on the basis of the theory. Secondly, it analyzed the urban-rural integration practice in China with some special practical models, such as, the model of urban with rural residents in Pearl River Delta, the model of Urban and rural planning in Shanghai, and promoting the development of township enterprises in Sunan. At the same time, it summarized the practical experiences .Thirdly; it analyzed the practice in Chengdu. Recently, the economy in Chengdu develops faster and faster, which makes the Chengdu be with the situations of the urban-rural integration. Moreover, it is urged to construct the urban-rural integration, because the economic development between urban and rural areas is imbalancable. Therefore, the municipal government in Chengdu proposed the development of strategic thinking, that is, to coordinate urban and rural economic and social development, and to promote the urban-rural integration, in accordance with the spirit of the 16th CPC National Congress. In nearly four years of practices, the urban-rural integration in Chengdu has achieved great successes, and formed urban-rural integration development model with some local characteristics.
