After entering WTO, the international competition of our iron and steel industry is becoming high. That is to say, the competition of the imports and continuous steel channels for the healthy development of china's iron and steel industry is particularly important.But for many years our country's iron and steel enterprise has been used the self-management way to import iron ore, also carries on the order, the transportation respectively, stores in the storehouse, transfers and so on the process. In addition, the traditional import ore transportation, all is undertaken to transport the artificial center by the marine transportation. In the cargo circulation process such as the memory, loading and unloading, the cargo disconnects with, all artificial has wasted many time, the energy and the money. So the article analyzes the status of our country's transport ore imports, pointing our country's existing import ore transport problems and solutions.According to the data based on 1996-2005, using linear regression, the index smooth and other methods for our country's import of ores logistics conducted forecasts for 2006-2008, make sure that imports of ores will rise increasingly in the ten years.The port as a starting point, building to grasp the overall situation and grasp steel enterprises and coordination of railways, highways, information communication port logistics distribution center, make sure of our country's import ore delivery system optimized programmer and its specific optimization models and optimization process. And taking the example of Qingdao port to be the actual evidence,designed the better delivery strategy of logistics.
