The relationship between parent companies and subsidiaries is the core issue of the management of enterprise groups. As to parent companies, human resources management is an important means to control subsidiaries. The human resources management control of parent-subsidiary corporate need to be further studied and improved in theory or practice, to find the ways and means of achieving the human resources management control of parent-subsidiary corporate.Human resource management model in parent-subsidiary corporations can be divided into three types: overall management, balance management and decentralized management. This research has employed the questionnaire method, mainly investigated corporate groups in Shandong Province to explore the current and development trend of human resource control. The investigation and the theoretical research are mainly about the influence factors of the choice of human resource management model, the match of human resource management model with control means and level, the means to achieve the human resources management control of parent-subsidiary corporate.The choice of human resources management model of parent-subsidiary corporate is influenced by many internal and external factors. Such as, the whole management control model of the group, the level of holdings, the corporate culture and so on. Different model need match with different control means and levels. The human resource planning, recruitment, training, compensation management and performance evaluation are all the means of human resource management of parent-subsidiary corporate. Under the different human resource management model, the parent company and subsidiaries assume different responsibilities, and the modules of human resource management have different processes. They are all the ways and means of the human resource management: the parent corporate can know the overall human resource situation about the group through the human resource planning; The management of the recruitment process can reduce the overall hiring costs of group, control the input of subsidiaries; The training of group can save cost and improve the quality of staff, at the same time, it helps to spread the corporate culture and enhance the cohesion between the parent corporate and subsidiaries; As to the compensation management of subsidiaries, parent-corporate can control the total number or devise a uniform standards; Performance appraisal is the most common and most effective means of parent-subsidiary corporation control. The performance assessment process about the board and managers of the subsidiaries is usually carried out by the board of parent corporate, and the general staff's performance assessment is usually carried out by subsidiaries. In addition, through the transfer of personnel, the establishment a unified information platform between parent companies and subsidiaries, the building of the Learning Organization also contribute to the human resources management control of parent-subsidiaries companies.No matter which model and means the parent-subsidiary corporate choose, its aim is to realize the effective management of the group, and eventually realizing the strategic interests of the whole group.
