The supply system is a certain standard made by the Government's financial sector. And with this certain standard, the government would use the state power and the strength of unity to hand out the production and means of subsistence. What's more, it's also a basic distribution system used by the Communist Party of China in the new democratic revolution period and the early period after the founding of People's Republic of China. It has a long -standing impact on the victory of the Chinese revolution and China's economy. According to the founding , development, the background the resource and the impact it has to our nowadays life of supply system in the Chinese history, this article means to have a systematic study on the supply system in Chinese history.The supply system has a process of building, dvelopment and perfection. It first appeared in the "Three Bay adoption"and since then it was implemented in almost every base. By the end of 1931, the finanical system of the base was unified and the supply system was gradually developed after the unification. During the long march, it wasn't developed quickly because there is no living space. During the anti-Japanese War period, it was fully developed with a unified standard and it met the needs of the base at that time. With the establishing of the Party's principle of "self-reliance" in 1940, the supply system was gradually improving. In the liberation war period it has been further development. After liberation, the supply system experienced a process of expansion and eventually correction and revertion.With the gradual restoration of the national economy and the smooth progress of Three major transformation, a comprehensive large-scale construction of the new China was about to begin soon. The supply system which has a strong color of egalitarianism was inevitably replaced by the wage system in the processing of history. The social environment which supply system implemented was gone forever and the egalitarianism of the supply system wasn't in accordance with all the positive factors in the building of socialism. The state began to fully implement the wage system and monetary wage system accompanied by the promulgation of related policies.Our country has entered a new era of socialism after the basic completion of three major transformation in 1956 and the early completion of the first five-year plan of of the comprehensive construction in 1957. However our country launched the "Great Leap Forward" movement rashly due to the lack of experience of building socialism and basic lack of understanding of the situation of the Party. The supply system bottomed out again in the Great Leap Forward campaignt. In the early period of the people's communes,the communes implemented a distribution system of wages and the supply system and it built many canteens in the villages. Such a unique nature of the distribution system was soon emulated one after another across the country. However, the wage system only existed for two months due to the poor economic conditions of the commune, the supply system came back the the history stage throughout the country again after that. Unlike the supply system before liberation, there are three forms of supply system after liberation. The reimplement of the suppluy system did a serious damage to the implementation of China's economic development. It dispelled the people's enthusiasm for production and eventually led to the depletion of food and severe famine. After an in-depth investigations of the central government to the commune throughout the country in 1961, public canteens was dissolved. The supply system and wage system was finally dispelled and the supply system eventually disappeared in the area of distribution.There are certain reasons for the experiencing of the continual implementation and the deletion and the reimplement in the distributing area. First of all,the supply system after the founding of the Communist Party of China was the extension of the system used before liberation. It has something to do with the flimsy basis of the founding of the early national economy. Secondly, the rampant re-use of the supply system was because of the "experience"which was in the deep minds of some people and the radical political Gong Jizhi also provides a breeding ground for the proliferation. Once again, the spread of the supply system also has some link with the "egalitarianism" deep in many people's mind.Although the supply system disappeared for certain reasons in the stage of history in the field of social distribution, we can still clearly capture the shadow of supply system in many fields. The supply system has been playing an important role in military fields. Today we are implementing a full socialist market economic system and the supply system is is still playing an irreplaceable role in the distributing area.
