| Performance evaluation plays a more and more important role in modern bank's operation management, which becomes one of the key Indicators to evaluate Management achievement. In China, most of commercial banks have already set up performance evaluation system, and many of them have made use of the evaluation results. However, few of them can truly reflect the role of performance evaluation. In the process of implementation, normative manipulation is defective in some of commercial banks. Therefore, the effect of performance evaluation does not exert. In the extent, it presents the opposite function. Nowadays, the research on commercial bank performance evaluation is not adequate, and actual performance evaluation theories and methods cannot directly apply into commercial bank's performance management. It is extremely necessary to analyze commercial bank's performance evaluation, put forwards countermeasures, as well as set up scientific evaluating system.Hua Xia Bank, Liaocheng Branch has made effective exploration in performance evaluation, and accumulates abundant experience. In the meantime, the change of internal and external financial environment demands new improvement in performance evaluation practice. This thesis analyzes the current performance evaluation conditions, and expounds relative theories of performance evaluation, as well as its evolving progress. It establishes theoretical foundation for performance evaluation research on Liaocheng Branch. Next, in the light of the actual situation of Liaocheng Branch, from the point views of main methods of performance evaluation, considering the usage of key performance indicators, 360-degree evaluation method and balanced Scorecard method, this thesis gives some suggestions and advice by some helpful attempts on how to develop performance evaluation practice in commercial banks. It hopes that through all-around constructing performance evaluation system can further improve current performance evaluation conditions, boost business expansion, mobilize personnel's enthusiasm, increase capital return and wholly enhance company's operation capability.The content of this research can summarize below:Chapter one is preface. It introduces research background, forms analysis framework, and confirms research thought and method. Chapter two is theoretical groundwork of performance evaluation research. This part explains performance evaluation's research condition, and investigates relative theories, as well as the main methods in performance evaluation. Among them, it particularly introduces balanced Scorecard method, key performance indicators and 360-degree evaluation method. Chapter three is the analysis of Hua Xia Bank, Liaocheng Branch's current performance conditions and its problems. In the first, it introduces the basic conditions of Hua Xia Bank, Liaocheng Branch, then brings forwards the problems in performance evaluation by causal analysis. Chapter four is the project of Hua Xia Bank, Liaocheng Branch's performance evaluation. Firstly, aiming at the problems of performance evaluation system, it accurately divides the objects of performance evaluation. At the same time, it designs performance evaluation system based on the feature of commercial banks. Then, it puts forwards evaluating system and weighing system under the guidance of key performance indicators, 360-degree evaluation method and balanced Scorecard method. In the hope of setting up an objective and scientific evaluating system, it finally expounds the process of evaluation.
