Research On Integration Of Corporate Knowledge Management And Core Competence

In the knowledge economy times,knowledge has become the most important strategic resource.Who have more and newer knowledge and change them to productivity as fast as possible,who can win in the competitive market.Therefore,it is realistic and significant to research how the enterprises carry out knowledge management.In the early 1990s,C.K.Prahalad and Gary Hamel introduced the Core Competence into strategy management.The concept at once was paid attention to by both the theoretical and entrepreneurial circles.It becomes the new point for strategic research and makes the strategic decision heavily depending on corporate capabilities instead of environment.That is to say,this strategic approach is more advanced than its former--the marketing structure method which had been implemented since 1980s.From systematic perspectives,knowledge management system has complicated and close relations to core competence system,so it is important to probe the relations between the two sub-systems.Firstly,the paper introduces the concept of the knowledge management and core competence.As the following,the paper analyzes the correlation and the flowing knowledge in the process of cultivating core competence.The paper points out that the cultivation process equals to the process of high quality knowledge flowing.Researching on the relations between core competence and knowledge management, the author wants to find a way to integrate core competence and knowledge management. Then construct the knowledge management system on the basis of knowledge management strategy, information technology,CKO, organizational structure, corporate culture,human resources management and so on.It is a system engineering that enterprises foster and promote the core competence through knowledge management, different enterprises face different situations,so they will inevitablely take different concrete measures. Therefore, enterprises must clearly understand the current situation of the stock of one's own knowledge and external knowledge situation,so they could make good strategical plan.On this basis,they could define the key links that should be given more attention,and select the most suitable one in numerous executions gather.And the paper has only proposed the choice set of a measure in common use.
