Performance Assessment Of Supply Chain For Engineering To Order

Under the increasingly fierce market competition environment,the supply chain management develops the importance in the enterprise to be more and more obvious, the supply-chain performance evaluation is an effective method to promote the supply chain operation benefit and drive supply chain to be optimization. The author has known its movement pattern when she visited the case company .This company has the regular stability orders, but also long-term suppliers. On the basis of thorough understanding and consulting massive relevant material ,the author summarizes, this company's movement pattern is ,that many Chinese companies also utilizes present, engineer-to-order (ETO).Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a performance evaluation method which present a lot of enterprises are using. On the basis of thorough study on BSC, using interest correlation theory and combining the features of the supply chain, This paper presents a supply chain Balanced Scorecard (BSC-SC), makes an evaluation to the supply chain from the financial, customers, suppliers, supply chain internal business processes and long-term supply chain development, the external environment etc six aspects.After analysis of characteristics of engineer-to-order manufacturing supply chain, the author has set and quantified the specific targets of the right-to-order manufacturing supply chain performance evaluation using BSC-SC, and then presented the index system which is a kind of systematic evaluation to face-to-order manufacturing supply chain.After giving the supply chain performance evaluation targets, this article presents the supply chain performance evaluation model by using extension. Comprehensive evaluation method, this is a new trial to the supply chain performance evaluation undoubtedly.Finally, taking a wheel hub manufacture company as the case ,this article has made evaluation to its supply chain performance , given the specific operating conditions of the supply chain performance in the form of scores, and carried on the confirmation to the theory part.
