This thesis study on the performance appraisal problem of supply chain. Studies start from two angles, holistic evaluation and inner effectiveness evaluation. With confluent methods, a specific evaluation can be carried out.Studies carried out from several aspects. First, make a review on the research progress of supply chain performance's appraisal from the past 10 years. Second, make an introduction to support vector machines, bionic intelligent algorithm, data envelopment analysis, principal component analysis, artificial neural networks and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Third, build up PSO-SVM and PCA-CS-DEA models from two different angles, holistic evaluation and inner effectiveness evaluation. Fourth, carry out simulations of the two models using a real example. Fifth, make a compare between the results of PSO-SVM and traditional methods to show the strength of PSO-SVM. Sixth, coding on Matlab for the data processing and model solving and all codes are attached in the thesis. There are two main results. First, build up an integrated model from two different angles, holistic evaluation and inner effectiveness evaluation. Second, initiate two confluent evaluation methods, PSO-SVM and PCA-CS-DEA, for supply chain performance's appraisal. The result can be used on performance appraisal of complex supply chain. Compared to traditional methods, it provides a more comprehensive perspective, more confluent appraisal methods and more accurate results.
