The Research On The Growth Mechanism Of R&D Industry In China

With the development of knowledge economy and the specific of laboring in the worldwide, the marketability trend of research and development(R&D)activities is more and more obvious. As a new commodity, technology research production enters into the economic fields. Thus, this trend results in the forming and developing of R&D industry. R&D industry will play a positive role in the agglomeration of technological innovation resources, optimizing the industry structure and upgrading the capability of independent innovation and so on.At present China is in a period of changes to the industrialization.the rapid development of global science and technology, the increasing competition among enterprises and the development of restructuring trend provide important opportunities and challenges to the development of China's R&D . In the current scene, study the growth mechanism of R&D industry in China and analyze the current situation of China's R&D industry has important significance for our country's R&D industry,which is a new requirwment of world's economic and technological development.In this paper,based on the foundation of R&D activity and industry's research abroad and home,we made a systemic research about the growth mechanism of R&D industry from the following three aspects: the analyse on the influence factors of R&D industry growth,the analyse on the statistics of R&D industry growth,the analyse on the lifecycle of R&D industry growth.The article's innovation work mainly includes the following several aspects:(1) On the basic of the analyse on the characters and growth course, this reasearch has constructed a influence factor model and given a systemic analyse, combined with the analyse of the influence factor about industry growth in the industry economics. (2)This research constructed a input and output evaluation index system from the amount index and quality index of the development of R&D industry, using the China's R&D active data in 1991-2005 made a particular research about the input and output to our country's R&D industry instance.(3) This research first applied the grey fixed weight clustering model on entropy weight method to the analyse on the regional development difference of our country's R&D industry ,and put full analyse to it from outlay and personnel devotion aspects. (4) Based on the industry lifecycle theory,this research first put forward that R&D industry includes four stages,which are incubation period,growth period,maturity period and recessin period,and analyzed the risk and characteristics of each stage.While this paper made a more systematic and in-depth study on R&D industry mechanism, but R&D industry is still a new industry, R&D industry-related research also belongs to a new research bearing , and its research limited by various subjective and objective conditions.
