A Research On The Technology-Intensive Industry Of Hebei Province

Along with the globalization of economy,China entering into the WTO,as well as the challenges encountered by the reform of opening up over the past 30 years,the national economy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Metropolitan Area achieved a high-speed growth through the development of an export-oriented economy,the upgrading of industrial structure,infrastructure construction and the development of township enterprises.At the same time,Hebei as the full-resource province in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Metropolitan Area has also made achievements in the economic development,and its economic growth becomes faster than other provinces in China.However,compared with the eastern region,there is still a big gap in the course of its development,there have also been many problems.For example,the labor-intensive industries also have absolute proportion and the technology-intensive industries develop slowly.Therefore,we must meet the challenge during the strategic period of making economic and social develop of Hebei province.It is important to keep focus on the technology-intensive industry of Hebei province and cultivate a comparative advantage in knowledge-and-technology intensively industry in order to adjust the industrial structure.The paper studies clearly on the existing research of the industrial structure.Then on the basis of those researches,the study has been proposed key issues about the industrial structure.The paper includes the overall industrial structure of Hebei province,the process of industrialization and industrial development of the internal industrial structure.By analyzing the results of previous studies,it found that there are many problems existing in the current restructuring of the industry in Hebei province.The paper selected all state-owned industrial enterprises and non-state-owned industrial enterprises with product sale income above 500 million as the main body of the research.With the detailed statistical information of annual statistic,make use of many methods to study the technology-intensive industry in Hebei Province.Using the data envelopment analysis through building C2R model to judge the validity of the technology-intensive industry's input and output.Based on the use of Eviews,it calculates the contribution to the economic development in Hebei Province made by the technology-intensive industry.It points out clearly that how the factors act in the development of the technology-intensive industry.The reference suggestions are proposed in this paper to cultivate technology-intensive industrial more competitive and full of advantage.
