Analysis And Diagnosis Of Rural Social Security For The Elderly In China

China, as a large agricultural country, has diverse differences between areas. To achieve the final implementation of social security, the main efforts in current stage are to change the uncultured situation in rural areas, to shorten the distance between countryside and city and to take the country from poverty. These problems gain more attentions from government. Three country documentations which focus on the issues of countryside, peasantry and agriculture were put into effect and became the keystone in social development strategy. The social security, as the primary approach to achieve the stable social environment, determines the national economic strategies. Especially the implementation of social security system for the elderly in rural areas, it will influence the rural reformation and stabilization, and further effect the rural population expansion. In the past years, the social security system in China operated differently between city and countryside, the pension has been allotted to peasants depended on glebe and family. After China becomes a part of WTO, the definite change will be occurred to the rural social security system. Moreover, accompany with the implementation of family planning, rural labor force redistribution and problem of global ageing, the revolution and improvement of rural social security becomes the most exigent issue to be put on agenda.This dissertation divides into six parts, namely, the introduction, four chapters and the conclusion.Chapter 1, focuses on the theoretical analysis of rural social security and explores the research of current situation in China.Chapter 2, explores the diverse social security theories in different periods, expatiates the development of rural social security in China.Chapter 3, finds out the main elements which impact the implementation of social security in China. For example, the great challenge we met in rural social security implementation process, the deficiency and faultiness of current rural social security system... etc.Chapter 4, puts forward the specify solutions and suggestions for social security reformation. The solutions base on people oriented principle, follow the legitimate and moral strategy, it's diverse from different regions and different standards. All the efforts devote to the harmonious development of national economic and people society.
