Study On Development Of Industrial Clusters Of Changyuan County In Henan Province

Industry cluster which has a powerful and sustainable strength for competition is formed, in a certain field, by many closely-related enterprises and related supporting institutions. The key to enhancing regional competition power is to enhance industrial competition power. Cluster industry is a potent drive for speeding up industrialization. It is a vital organizational form for promoting regional economy, especially for promoting the competition power of enterprises. In recent years, those coastal areas(Jiangsu, Guangdong, Zhejiang etc.) in our country have rapidly developed in economy through a growing number of industry clusters. Compared with the southeastern coastal areas, Henan Province, which is located in the central part of China, is developing slowly and lagging behind in economy. The counties'economy of Henan is developing more slowly and more backward.This paper takes Changyuan County of Henan Province as a research subject, employs the qualitative and quantitative analyses, analyzes the current developmental situation of Changyuan's industry clusters, uses for reference the industry cluster's deveopment modes at home and abroad, makes clear the disadvantages as well as advantages for Changyuan to develop the industry cluster, refers to the economic indexes of Changyuan'industry clusters, puts forward the key industry for Changyuan'industry clusters to develop and some corresponding countermeasures. This paper is helpful for Henan Province to lay down the industry cluster's development strategy at the county's level. Changyuan's development mode is of great signifance in guiding the economic development at the county's level in Henan.This paper falls into six chapters. Chapter One introduces the definition of industry cluster, the research background, the research purpose, the research significance and current researches about it at home and abroad. Chapter Two analyzes the current developmental situation of Changyuan's industry cluster, the necessity of developing Changyuan's industry cluster, the scale, distribution and features of Changyuan's industry cluster, and then puts forward the conditioning factors existing in developing Changyuan's industry cluster. Chapter Three mainly analyzes and introduces the formation and development process of the four typical regional industry clusters of China and foreign countries. The four typical examples are as follows: the developing countries'hi-tech industry cluster– the Banjialuoer Mode in India, the developed countries'hi-tech industry cluster– the Silicon Valley Mode in the U.S.A., the Original Industry Cluster Mode in Zhejiang, China, the Set-in Industry Cluster Mode in eastern China. Through analysis and research, the experience worth popularizing is obtained from how Changyuan develops its industry clusters. Chapter Four, mainly based on analyzing the Changyuan's disadvantages as well advantages in developing industry clusters, finds out Changyuan's strengths and weaknesses in developing industry clusters. Chapter Five, considering the current developmental situation of Changyuan's industry clusters and the advantages Changyuan has over the other regions in China, puts forward the key industry Changyuan should give priority to in developing industry clusters and some corresponding countermeasures. Chapter Six mainly casts light on some vital revelations the Changyuan Industry Cluster Development Mode has to Henan's economical development at the county's level.
