The Research Of Industrial Enterprises Competitiveness Evaluation And Application In Gannan Tibetan Autonomy Island

Government, businessmen and academia joined the research areas of enterprises competitiveness since U.S. scholar Stephen Raubenheimer offered the concept of enterprises competitiveness. Especially from the late 1980s and early 1990s, the academia set off the hot of research. Professor Michael Porter in Harvard University said: enterprises competitiveness determined the competitiveness of a country. In some degrees the competitiveness of a region is determined by the enterprises competitiveness in the region. Enterprises are the basic unit in the region economy, the development of the enterprises and region economy has an interaction. So the research of enterprises is a one-sided beyond the region of the enterprises especially as to the undevelopment regions.The investigation target of the paper is a Tibetan Autonomy Island——Gannan Island in the inland undevelopment province——Gansu. Gannan is a typical pastoral areas, for a long time the areas was in the poverty and backwardness and low level of economic development also. In addition to the industrial structure is a simple , local financial is difficult, per capita income of farmers and herdsmen is low, the scientific and cultural quality is not high. There are many reasons lead to the above conditions, both have real reasons for historical reasons and both have objective reasons for subjective reasons. The paper aim to the condition of the industrial enterprises in Gannan because the undevelopment of the industry is a key factor that constraints the development of the region. As we all known the agriculture especial the animal husbandry is constrained by the natural environment and consumer flexibility, its growth in output value is slow, the role in promoting economic is limited. Contrast to the agriculture the industry has many characters such as the constraints on the consumer flexibility is small, the value-added products is high and the growth in output value is fast. Its role in promoting economic is prior to the agriculture. The developed countries have completed the industrialization in the world and our county is going modernization, above these confirm the important role of the industry in the national economic.At present the industrial enterprise have many characters as follows: its size is too small, organizational form is single, the input of R&D is inadequate, brand building is weak, marketing strategy is neglected, overall quality of staff and skill levels are not high and do not attach importance to cultural development. At the same time local industrial enterprises development is constrained by the environment of Gannan. As China's building a well-off society and the great cause of building a harmonious society in-depth and the great western development strategy and the promoting of moved on the relocation of settlers and new construction projects the pastoral areas, it is urgent to promoting the overall development of national areas. In order to promote the rapid and healthy development of Gannan and change the traditional single industrial structure we need promote the local competitiveness of industrial enterprises.The paper use the Statistical Yearbook of Gannan and Gansu and statistics of all industrial enterprises and from the actual situation of industrial economy and industrial enterprises and use the comparative analysis, form analysis, factor analysis to calculate composite scores from the viability, profitability, operating security capability and scale. At last to analyze and value the status of the industrial enterprises in Gannan and give suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of industrial enterprises in Gannan according to analysis results.
