The Study Of Tourism Impact Based On Residents’ Perception And Attitude In Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture

Since the year of 2012,Chinese economy has entered a new normal stage of development with a high-middle speed.The overall economy has confronted a crucial period of reform and development.At the same time,as one of an important modern service industry,tourism industry get rapid development recent years.There is a huge difference between the whole economy and tourism industry.All of this makes tourism industry to perform a crucial role in economic restructuring.A lot of local authorities often regard tourism as leading industry,in the remote areas from western China,pro-poor tourism gains an important task in poverty alleviation.Accompanying the rapid tourism development,we should also pay more attention to the changes of resident’s attitude and perception of tourism.Only if we are good at grasping the local’s changes in the tourism perception, learning the lessons of tourism development from developed countries,basing on the local conditions,and paying more attention on the residents’ perceptions and attitudes of tourism,we can enjoy a better chance to develop tourism industry.This paper takes Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture as a research case, our group had carried out two in-depth field research in Gannan,at the year of 2009 and2015.By using the related basic theory,from the perspectives of diachronic comparison,we carried out a deep research in the residents’ perception and attitudes toward tourism.In this paper,we use the statistical method to analyze the differences between the two researches in order to find the real law in the change of local’s perception and attitudes toward tourism.The paper is divided into 6 chapters.In the 1st chapter,we mainly introduce the background, contents and methods of this topic,and show the research significance and framework of this thesis. The 2nd chapter describes the overview of tourism influence and the study of ethnic tourism at home and abroad.The 3rd chapter explains the concept of tourism impact,residents’ perception of tourism destination,the index of anger,the resort life cycle and empowerment theory.The 4th chapter mainly analyzes the local’s perception of tourism impact, explains the impact of tourism development from three aspects.The 5th chapter is the core section and alsothe empirical research part of this thesis,it takes Gannan as an example to analyze the differences and relevance of resident’s perception and attitudes of tourism in the year of 2009 and 2015 by SPSS19.0. And we have analyzed these two surveys date by multiple regression analysis. According to the rules in this paper, the 6th chapter puts forward several measures and suggestions for the sustainable development in ethnic areas tourism,such as Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.The last chapter is the conclusions and several problems urgently to be solved for further study in the future.
