Research On Evaluation Model Of IT Enterprises Project Management Maturity

The evaluation of project management maturity has been a vital study task for project management. IT enterprises are typical project-conscious companies. How to evaluate IT enterprises project management maturity scientificly, to find out the current weakness and insufficiency of project management in our companies, to work out betterment plans, to improve project management level and to enhance a company's comprehensive competence, have become the realistic problems which need to be solved urgently by our IT enterprises.Through analysis and research on evaluation model of our IT enterprises project management maturity, guided by current project management theories, based on digesting and absorbing the research and application achievement of project management maturity home and abroad, and using the method of combining the criterion research and the empirical research, the qualitative research and the quantitative research, this paper sets up the evaluation model of project management maturity, and brings forward the index filtration method of group decision making based on fuzzy preference relation and the project management maturity evaluation method based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Firstly, according to the characteristics of the IT enterprises project management, the principles of index system setup, and project management body of knowledge (PMBOK), the general evaluation index system of IT enterprises project management maturity is proposed, and based on the fuzzy preference relation method, the more efficient indicators are selected so as to the evaluation index system of the IT enterprises project management maturity is confirmed.Then, the paper deduces the evaluation model for indicators'weight by AHP approach, and uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation approach to formulate single factor fuzzy evaluation model and multi-hierarchy fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model.Still, a case study on IT enterprises project management of Lanling corporation is applied to illustrate the application of the evaluation, and the results have shown the model can evaluate IT enterprises project management maturity efficently, and help decision makers handle the project management scientifically and comprehensively from both the microcosmic side and macrocosmic side, so as to make decisions more scientifically, and find the practical schemes to solve the problems concerning IT enterprises project management.Finally, the paper systematically explains the application value and condition of the evaluation model of IT enterprises project management maturity, and also expects its application foreground.
