Practice Of Agricultural Research Result Transformation By Shanxi Academy Of Agricultural Sciences And Its Experiences Analysis

Agricultural research result transformation is of great importance to sustain and make contribution to agriculture growth by science and technology progress.Agricultural research organizations in China,as main stream doner of agricultural research,are expected to enjoy their important social standing due to their technology capability,qualified scientists/technicians and on-spot practical experiences.Yet,restricted by disadvantages from system and mechanism,they failed to play the expected role in research result transformation all along.In the case of qualified work in technology innovation and result transformation,it is reasonable not only economic benefit for the Academy,but also social position and to be winner in market economy trend.Stillmore it would bear more significance to agriculture restructuring,to increase technology efficiency and increment,to improve competitive capability for Chinese domestic farm product in the world market and to rise construction level of mordern agriculture and socialist new rural community.Up to now,admirable achievements and plenty experiences have been got through effective approaches by Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences in research result transformation.In present paper through analysis to practise and experiences,effective method for research organizations to full play their role are approached,which is of realistic significance to rank the position of the research organizations in research result transformation system and to promote progress in agriculture and rurral community in whole China.In present paper,it reviewed successful practise by Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences in procession of research result transformation over 20 years and refined six transformation organization forms as the following:1.Large scale project to promote agriculture throuhg technology extension;2.Technology contract in rural community; 3.Construction of pilot park for new-high agricultural technology demonstration;4.Setting up of technology market;5.Establishment of technology style leading enterprises;And,6.Social technology service and farmers' training in whole province.In the above mention activities five experiences have been got,Namely,1 To start by pilot base,pilot as demonstration and radiation extension;2.Attention to extension through practical technology package;3. Scientists and technicians on-spot implement;4.Team organization of the extension talent;5. To carry out 'value view" education focused on contribution to scientists and technicians. There existed four problems as follows:1.Limitation by the extension mode of research result transformation;2.It is hard to combine research task closely with market demands;3.Funds shortage for middle-way trail and extension;4.Limitation by characters of research result itself.Based on painstaking analysis and literature retrival,suggestion was put forward to establish new research result transformation system in Shanxi.It means,an agriculture technology extension organization,guided by the the market,co-directed by government agriculture technology estension organizations and agricultural research institutions,and the like auxiliary bodys.The following opinion corcernning the establishment of research result transformation system is worthwhile to mention as following:1.To hold a leading position for the research organization;2.To give full support to the participation by the like agriculture organizations and the like agricultural technology extension activities;3.To amplify high authority coordination mechanism for research result transformation in Shanxi province.The establishment of the research result transformation system could make benefit to resultant extension effort,complete each other,close combination of research with extension, formation of an orderly circle between scientific research and technology extension, overcome of realistical difficulties without delay and to provide more effective service to rise agricultural productivity,to inrease farmers' income and to promote rural economy.At the mean time,it would be farourable to innovation in scientific research conducted by the reserch organizations.When research doer become extension doer,it would be benefit to accelerate extension circle and information feedback,and in turn to help scientists to get more information and to open up fresh research sphere.The extension practise is a stretch of the research work and is also source for new research task as well.
