The Competence Evaluation Of Typical Companies In Hubei Province

The research content of this paper evaluates the typical business companies'competence in Hubei province. Through analyzing the selected model companies of the automobile industry and the retailing industry, the purpose of the paper is to find the way to promote the competence of the Hubei representative industry. Research techniques are the case study, contrast margin method and so on.Hubei is a large province in central China and has the core strength in the process of promoting the rise of the central region. To speed up the economic development in central China, that means to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises in the region. How to transfer the potential advantages of the Hubei enterprises into competitive advantages is the key to the rise of the central strategies.In this paper, based on the domestic and abroad theory about the comprehensive evaluation of the competence of enterprises (including : Enterprise resource and capacity theory,the Porter model, IMD and WEF international competitiveness of China's industries and enterprises and the research of international competence ), the evaluation index system is designed for the study of the competence of enterprises in Hubei. The target evaluation system includes a total of 12 indicators which indicate four levels of the enterprise capabilities, namely growth capability, profitability, operation capability and security capability. Then, this paper analyzes typical enterprises as an important target analysis from the automobile manufacture industry and the retailing industry in Hubei, meanwhile, it explains why the two selected industries such as typical industries. By analyzing the competence situation of these typical companies with the gap analysis, the paper puts forward to the countermeasures of how to enhance the competence of typical industries in Hubei.Finally, by comparing competence analysis of the automobile manufacturing industry and the wholesale and retailing industry, the paper explains the importance of industrial development and presents the proposal to enhance the competitiveness of industries in Hubei Province.
