Study On Economy Development And Spatial Structure In Xi'an City

Against the backdrop of growing economic globalization, world economy has been speeded up, meanwhile, problems such as ecocide , environmental pollutions and so on also increase, how to harmonize the relations of population , resource, environment and development, is not only the hot spot that society concerns nowadays, but also the important contents that Regional Economics and Economic Geography study. Among them, the regional development (economic growth and spatial structure evolvement) is the key. Regional development is closely interrelated with spatial structure, regional development is the driving force of the evolvement of spatial structure, conversely, the evolvement of spatial structure promotes regional development. Take xi'an city for example, two mainlines of economic growth and spatial structure conspire the regional development together, which can not only enrich research contents of regional spatial structure theoretically ,but also provide the scientific basis for government making the regional economic policy.From the background of the regional development practices, the paper expounds the importance of regional spatial economic structure and cardings regional spatial economic structure research situation abroad and domestic. According to the relevant theories of regional economic growth and the spatial structure, based on the survey data and literature, wielding mathematic model and comparative method, the paper systematically analyzes the evolvement process of economic growth and spatial structure in xi'an city, judges economic development stage , discusses the relation between economic growth and spatial structure and then raises the regional spatial structure optimizing model and the concrete regional development measures.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Applying the criterion of regional economic development stage made by U.S economist Chenery, the paper judges that the regional economic development of xi'an city is on the mid-term stage of the industrialization, and forges ahead gradually to the late stage of industrialization , economy is in transform period.(2) Industrial structure of xi'an city has experienced from "231" type to "321" type. The contribution to GDP of tertiary industry plays the main role, secondary industry takes second place ,the primary industry is the last one, and its productivity is also lowest. It concludes by analyzing the industrial structure deviation that Primary industry is releasing a labor force unfailingly, Secondary industry still has the potential absorbing large amount of labor force, the tertiary industry employment number begins to stabilize step by step.(3) By analyzing the economic growth of the urban district and countryside in xi'an ,the spatial framework is as follows:①xi'an is on the stage of spatial agglomeration now, which obviously shows "core-periphery" pattern, and the urban district is the agglomeration area of whole city,②economic growth evolves gradually into polycentric, Yanliang,Baqiao,Huxian,Lintong and Chang'an all have more potential.(4) Wielding the economic spatial autocorrelation model, it confirms the "pole—axis" system of xi'an city , on basis of which it then raises spatial development pattern of xi'an: the first circle carry out pole of growth pattern, the surrounding circle implement the pole of growth and "pole -axis" pattern. At last, it puts forward the spatial reorganization measures of xi'an ,which is constructing perfect key points and lines, making integrated construction of regional economy, completing regional infrastructure systems, cultivating industrial cluster and boosting the country economic growth..
